Yummy Porridge, Pineapple & Pomegranate

Another yummy favourite of mine, is this heart healthy breakfast, Oats specially if you can find the gluten free ones, are not only a great source of fibre, but also a cholesterol lowering food.

I soak my oats over night in plenty of filtered water, then in the morning I cook it over a medium heat till its nicely cooked but not too mushy, I then add cinnamon, and in this case, a little bit of falxseed, cubes of fresh pineapple, and pomegranate seeds, Pineapple contains bromine which is anti inflammatory, Pomegranate is an anti oxidant youthing food, so I try to include it in my diet as often as I possibly can, we’re blessed in Egypt where I’m originally from to have over 40 different types of Pomegranate. Promise. Now I better go grab some xx
