Parsley Humous For Hormonal Balance!

Phytoestrogens are plant foods that can have an Oestrogen-like activity & a hormonal-balancing effect on your body. Chickpea is a pulse that is loaded with phytoestrogens. It contains a compound called Isoflavones, don’t let the word Oestrogen worry you that it will make you Oestrogen dominant, thats not how it works, unlike HRT, these plant Oestrogens regulate your hormones by working on the Alpha and Beta receptors in your cells, and help block foreign Xenoestrogens, coming from the environment, like BPA in plastic and so on…


  1. A can of chickpeas in water, if you can get dried chickpeas and soak them over night in water, even better.
  2. 2 cloves of garlic.
  3. 2 tbs Tahini paste.
  4. 1/2 cup filtered water.
  5. 1/2 tbs cumin.
  6. A bunch of parsley.
  7. 1 Lemon.
  8. 1 tbs Apple cider vinegar ‘not sterilised’
  9. Extra virgin olive oil.

Place all ingredients except olive oil together in a food processor, blend, serve after adding the olive oil on top. I serve it with fish, crudite like carrots, celery, so amazing for you. xx
